Below are the current MSCC Rules and Regulations. Please be aware that these could be updated every now and again as it is early days at the club and we are learning all the time.
You will need the free Adobe Reader to be able to read it. (You can untick the "include McAfee in your download" bit first if you wish.)
All,
The committee & scrutineers have modified the club rules and regulations slightly. I'm having trouble updating the rules in the previous post so here is a new post with them in, please see the attached document:
All changes are shown in red text. For the SlotRallyGB and Classic Slot Car Racing Association rules just click on the blue text in our rules document (this is a link to the relevant sites with their current rules).
We have tried to keep our main rules short (2 pages maximum) and simple, but we wished to clarify certain points, and also try and allow cars that have some problems to still be raced. For example, some cars with independent front axles suffered poor handling as the front wheels are too flexible (wobbly). The idea is that we get a few more car variations on the grid and people don't buy a new car and find basic issues stop it driving well.
Basically, we want people to have a good choice of cars and to be able to race on a fair and level playing field. So, please read these rules and have the attitude that you will race 'within the spirit of the rules'. Thank you.
Hi all,
latest rules agreed by the MSCC Committee, with the small change applied (that was e-mailed to members this week), are below.
Hopefully this will be the last for a while. The change is marked in red:
