How many revs do the yellow can motors have? Are we allowing sprung guides in F1 and are we running standard Scaley rear axles with the standard pinion and gear ratio and do these Slot It tyres fit Scaley hubs?

I take it that all high mag motors are banned and in Ninco GT can we have one named motor, NC5 for example.

Rally spec - which class? Classics or 80`s. Forget Modern or Modified or we`ll have an invasion of NSR GT "rally" cars.

Hi Phil,

Ref F1 regs:-

The yellow cans are 25K, hardly any mag effect.

The Slot it F22 F1 tyres fit scalex hubs.

Any guide can be fitted.

We can set the gear ratio to 9z 27t?

Ref Ninco Class:-

I dont mind ref motor, trouble is NC5 isnt the standard motor anymore.

Ref Rally class :-

Thought we were going to run different class each round?
Modern is ok cos no GT cars are in this class.

Cheers
Phil.

Tidy job thumbsup.gif

As long as we all use the same motor, not expensive and not high mag. (I used the NC5 as and example as it was the only number I could remember rolleyes.gif ).

I must read the Slot Rally GB rules sometime biggrin.gif

See you thursday.

Hi Guys.

Got a few questions about next year.

Number of classes this year we had 5 next year showing 6, so are we dropping one round from each class or is the rally class going to be as is now ie first free Thursday of the month. Also are we going to continue rotating the classes or going back to one at a time.

F1's

Are tyres allowed to be glued?
Standard hubs or not?
Original gears or just the orignial ratio?

Ninco GT

Is this for Ninco race cars, road cars, rally cars, all?
Are we setting a Motor or open to all Ninco motors?

Rally

Are we running this on Aberstone or rally stages

Le Mans

More bit of advice this one, If I want to change the motor in my Mazda whats the best? Boxer 2? Flat 6? Also what do I need to change it to anglewinder and best gear ratio.

Sorry for asking so many things at once but think it better than posting a new question every few days.

Thanks

The monthly slot rally on stages will continue. Not as part of the club championship.

I think the rally class in the club championship will be run on the Aberstone circuit, running a different SRGB class each round.

The rest is down to Phil F. thumbsup.gif

Hi Steve,

In 70's F1 you can glue the tyres on to the original hubs or Slot it, NSR or Ninco F1 hubs

Gear ratio is 9/27, original or slot it.

The 6 classes will be run like 2011 alternate each fortnight.

4 rounds per class, best 3 to count.

Ninco class is ninco GT only, need to decide on motor choice?

Rally class will be on aberstone.

Ref your mazda, Boxer 2 open can is best. 11 or 12 pinion with 28 - 30 gear.

You will need a AW starter kit which includes pod, stopper & gear. they do standard or lowered pod!

Hope this helps.

Cheers
Phil.

Right then Phil and Phil, so my NSR 917K is eligible for both Le Mans GT and Classic GT?

I hope so, I only need to get a Ninco GT and DTM to complete the list.

So if my Mrs ever says "I can't believe these cars only cost a tenner each" your going to have to back me up lads, ok? tongue.gif

Well I`ve just checked this years GT and it says -

Le mans GT.
Slot it, Ninco, Avant, MB, Fly, Spirit, SCX, Slotting Plus, Scale-Auto, Scalextric, Sloter & Pro slot
.
Any GT car which has run at le mans. Classic or modern.(Not Moslers)
Wheels must be under arches. No Dodo motors.

No mention of NSR`s unfortunately.

Unless Mr F wants to change it and allow NSR?

Ninco DTM`s you will get for a tenner thumbsup.gif

Cheers - Phil cat.gif

Cheers Phil.

I was told there were two types of DTM Mercs from Ninco - one was better than the other. Any ideas? I'll look some up on ebay to see if I can make sense of it!
