Just the Minardi Champcar on the right is a Mega G. And curiously was almost the cheapest out of the three cars. The Fox Racing was marginally cheaper but it was just a bodyshell. The McLaren and Lotus are Japan only release Tomy Turbos and the Fox Racing shell is another Turbo body which turned out to be surprisingly hard to get hold of. 6 more to complete the Turbo collection. I'll post a full pic of my "so far" set if you like.

Turbo mania!! I'll be picking up the SRT collection from Deane next weekend although I have acquired one already. Guess I'll donate the double to my brother.

In terms of the Tyco, there are at least 4 different body styles that I am aware of.

Here are the two versions that I own.

The wings are at risk on all of them but with the Chaparral style on the left, the rear wing is pretty solid.

The other types are the Indycar with very fragile wings. An example is this ebay listing:

An amazing looking car though.

Then are these narrow rear wing F1 cars.

That's pretty easy to get hold of.

I think for racing the narrow wing car is optimal. That or the Chaparral.

There are a couple of other F1 cars. Woodcote's Benetton is lovely looking for example with the shark nose.

This is, IMO, the best Tyco F1 body:

With this as back-up when in yellow lane:

If you go looking for these on evilbay the key phrase is Tyco Chaparral. Use evilbay.com, not co.uk.

Did you buy any Tyco bodies or chassis in the week Lee?
