Hi guys

The "Druidale" stage will be made up on Saturday morning - I have a few ideas, but until we see what space is left, I won't be able to design it. However, it won' t be the same as last year.... tongue.gif

Hopefully there will be borders around most of the corners this year!

Cheers
Dave

Phil B, thanks for bringing Lap timers.

My paint is drying on Tholt -y- Will as we speak.....who's idea was this to make a hill climb? Oh bugger, it was me..........

Pooil Vaash is a quarry and coming from Mike B won't be easy!

Hi Luke,
Chris didn't tell me that it was the SCX version you wanted! The one he has seen has a Scalextric chassis and motor. I have, however, been up in the attic for a dig around and found my SCX version that I used when I first started slot racing. It's got sentimental attachments but that won't slow it down! biggrin.gif
It's completely standard and must be 15 years old with its original tyres (although they seem ok). I'll bring it along and you are welcome to use it for the event.
Steve

So 24 hours to go, I`m packed, just five stages practice tonight. Russell and I will be on the noon ferry and hopefully have a speedier crossing than last year, wacko.gif with less guinness on the bar floor this time!

Hi Phil

You're on the "Mannanin" from Heysham then, so your scheduled journey time is only 2 hours...!

Weather is:-

"....A mainly bright day with sunny spells. Winds 3-4. Outlook: Mostly dry and quiet over the weekend, with sunny intervals and just a few scattered showers...."

So the Guinness forecast is steady as she goes.... biggrin.gif

May not be so quiet in the function room at the Glen Helen though...!

I am tied up until about 3-ish, so if you want grab a coffee in Costa Coffee in the Sea Terminal when you've got your luggage, I will come and pick you up. Let me know when you have your luggage.

Cheers
Dave

Things are starting to hot up now, so let's all hope for some close racing, great fun and a wonderful weekend.

I hope all the effort from Ryan, Mike B and my Tholt- y-Will stages being built were worth it!

Good luck everybody.

I have just been around Ramsey putting up some posters - only to be told by the last place I went to that there is no indication of times or location !

What times should I put on - I will go around again and add the details to the posters.

I am envisaging a 2 or 3pm start on Sat and a 9am start on sun ?
