It's done! It represents Chris Amon's 312 from the 1967 season. All scratchbiult except for the driver figure which I had to rob from my Scaley Lotus 49- ouch. All .039 steel wire chassis with the same Scalextric motor and gear ratio as the Lotus and Eagle
Hope you like it.

Excellent car! I like these 1967-cars so much!

How did you do the soldering of the steel wire?

And could you please add some detail pics from the rear end?

I really love those exhausts....
It is also great to see how you have soldered suspension arms to the chassis.
A very cleanly finished model.
Something for me to aim for.

......same as brass but use an acid flux and a bit more heat.

A beautiful, clean build. The chassis design has been very well thought out.

With kind regards,

Russell

I agree with the rest..... Lovely build brother. Great design. thumbsup.gif thumbsup.gif

Did you scatchbuild the body and engine details? Is it possible to get a photo or two of the chassis on it's own.

Again, cool build!

Great job there, modelersc! thumbsup2.gif

Excellent work on those "snake nest" exhausts! Lovely car all over, what! I too would like to see more of the chassis: it looks so clean...

Cheers and thanks for sharing! cool.gif
