Built to take part in the recent Classic Le Mans themed event at the Wolverhampton Scalextric Club, this model has been built using an A2M resin body from Spain. Chassis is Penelope Pitlane in-line comp; motor is nsr evo 22k and running gear is slot.it. Wheels are the wonderful work of Mr Peter Seager-Thomas.

Thanks for looking.

Dave

What a beauty!
And a very clever solution putting the driver on the motor too!

One day, I will try my hands on a scratch-project too. Being an absolute newbie to slotracing, I´ll stick to driving ready made cars for a while. The next step will be "tuning" out of the box cars.

Cheers

Markus

Superb work and of course Dave is far too modest to have mentioned that he won concours with the car at the Wolves Le Mans race.

Could you tell me what the A2M shells are like to obtain from Spain and how much preparation they need?

David

Fantastic! Looks far too good to race! Did you sustain any damage?

Lovely. I'd admired the photo in the current MRE newsletter then low and behold it turns up here. Jolly nice motor.

Stunning, and great idea to have the seats and driver "blend" into the motor.

Thanks for showing us this work of art.

David - I can only give Juan at A2M my warmest recommendation. Try him - I am sure you will not regret it.

Juan is a really nice guy and his service is superb. As is his resin shells, I have by now 9 of them in my collection.
