Audi R18 TDI comes in inline setup. The motor is King EVO 21 which has 21400 rpm @ 12 Volts 322 gr/cm.

The special aluminium rims with AIR SYSTEM technology, along with soft compound tyres, give an exceptional grip on any kind of track surface.

The Audi R18 TDI was created in the streamline of the Mosler GT project which has dominated in the GT top class either in National and International competitions since it was released in 2006.

just been watching the le mans 24 hr, only to watch the delta wing. i noticed all the cars look much the same. i actually prefer NSR,s flattend and wider shaped body. john

Ive been collecting these Audis. I received the one i the review a few weeks ago and it just beautiful !
they drive great, but with the one I am drive (#1 test car) I notice is a bit noisy. Did you experience the same Doug?

Wenn this is the Le Mans 2011 Audi why don't I see the "24 heures du Mans" stickers on the car?

Apart from the fact that in 2011 the prototype sticker, the P1, was a red P1 on a white background instead of a white P1 on a red background.

I can understand the omission of the mentioned "24 heures du Mans" stickers due to license costs/problems but to make such an obvious mistake with the P1

are you taking about the no on the nose or the side stickers, it was probably done that way for aesthetic reasons. john

Nice find DJ. This NSR is a fine rendition and a tremendous runner. I know some people don't care for it, to each their own.

There is one big mistake that they made!

On the new cars of the LMP1 class the front wheels should have the same size as the rear wheels.

NSR don't make slotcars to be 100% accurate shelf queens. They build them to look acceptable and race like a stunning fury. You can't see tiny little tampo prints when a car is hurtling around the track, so who gives a hoot?

Can anyone detail how good these odd looking monsters perform on the track for the whacking expensive price NSR want for them?

True they are more expensive than a Carrera, an SCX or a Scaley car but shop around and you'll buy the NSR R18 in white kit form for less than £50 and the full liveried model for under £60. If you race at home on a small track you'll be wondering why you spent the extra cash but if you're a club racer with a larger playground you'll have got yourself a bit of a bargain.

Looks very good, I think I might have to buy all three! At the end of the day, if the missing Le Mans stickers are such an annoyance, find the image on Google, resize it, and print it as a decal. Job done.

Performance is reasonable. We race on a steel braided wooden track, so the magnets have a big affect on the cars speed. The car is very fast until you start to push it, and instead of sliding as say the Mosler or a Slot.it would, its almost as though the car looses grip and flips itself out of the slot. If NSR produced this in anglewinder guise, it could definatly be well up there with the fastest Sports cars. Either that, or use a motor with less magnetic downforce. I intend to buy the Rockenfeller car, and fit it with the 20k Scaleauto Long Closed Can, and see how fast it is.

in truth ive never been able to afford an NSR car but the all black version, the all black take no prisoners, and the black grp5 capri, really have me drooling. i,m in a catch 22 situation, i,ve got to flog 2or3 of my best cars to get one, and i dont really want to sell any. john

If set up properly , they are amazing .

Jon inline set up generally speaking gives a far more natural feel than angle winder .

Haven't got one yet but really considering it
