Hi all

Just did the APB power mod, I've only bench tested it to make sure the volts are coming through okay as I'm on roast cooking duties now and all is good, you up the PSU and up goes the track volts and of course lower the PSU and down it goes.

I'll get the covers off the track next weekend and give it a good go but for now I think all went okay, can't wait to give a good thrashing.

I'll let you know how the final test goes.

Marty

Hi Marty,

Here's one to get you started!

I don't have a single picture of my rebuilt track yet but will have after the British Grand Prix this weekend.

SS67,
Do these PBs just "plug in" to the track connectors or are you using cables to connect them? I was wondering because they look like they almost fit together with both the power (on the big white connectors) and the data (on the USB slots) lined up.... sort of.

Also, I know I have asked this before, would it be possible to get an "inside shot" of the PBs (and underside of the track) to see how the USB connectors fit in? I have looked at USB sockets for PCBs and don't see an easy way to install them (so may have to go the RJ45 Cat5 cable route for the data and banana plugs for the power).

Many thanks for pioneering the way!
Cheers!
