Molesey Scalextric Club is one of the oldest in the country, and was formed in 1978.

Our location: Ray Road, West Molesey, Surrey KT8 2LG, Surrey. junction of Beauchamp Road.

The club has its own venue, Our new track is a six lane Ninco track.

We cater for all skill levels at our club meetings and provide a tyre truing service and work shop weekends. The club run a variety of NSR, Slot.it, and Ninco cars.

Thursday is main club night, doors open about 7pm with racing starting at 8pm. Monday is practice night.

Please contact p.upton@blueyonder.co.uk or call Neil on 07767 850488 to confirm that opening times. Race control and lap counting and race statistics are computer controlled. Hot drinks, cans, bottled water, crisps and chocolate are available in the kitchen all thought the evening.

Classes for the rest of the year go as follows:

1. Slot.it Group C.
2. NSR/Slot.it classics.
3. NSR GT3.
4. Open inline GT/LMP.
5. 1/24.






General rules

• Bodyshells can be painted, but ‘clear coating’ a plain plastic shell is not permitted.
• Traction magnets must be removed.
• In all classes, tyres can be glued and trued except for Group C where handout tyre rules apply.
• All body/mount screws can be run loose.
• Front tyres can be ‘glazed’.
• Chassis’s can be lightly skimmed around the edges to improve body fit but this mustn’t be excessive.
• Wheel inserts must be present in all classes except for open inline.
The following components are deemed ‘free choice’ : Body/Mount screws, Front tyres, Braids and Motor wires.

Group C

Regulations:
Cars must remain STANDARD apart from the following allowable changes:
• Cars can be fitted with either of the following two combinations: 0mm offset mount with 15.8mm rear wheels or 0.5mm offset mount with 16.5mm rear wheels. These two configurations cannot be mixed and matched!
• Standard front axle adjustment blocks/inserts can be replaced with grub screws top & bottom.
• Overall rear axle width can be increased to a maximum of 65mm but wheels/tyres must not be visible when the car is viewed from above.

Classics
NSR regulations for: Porsche 917, Ford mkIV/P68/GT40.
Cars must remain standard apart from the following allowable changes:
• Rear tyres can be upgraded to NSR ultragrips.
• Any NSR sidewinder spur gear can be used.
• Any grade of chassis can be used.
• Any grade of motor mount can be used.
• Guide can be upgraded to screw fit version.
Slot.it regulations for: Ferrari 312pb, Alfa Romeo 33/3, Ford GT40, Chapparal 2E.
Cars must remain standard apart from the following allowable changes:
• Any slot.it non silicone tyre can be used.
• Any slot.it sidewinder spur gear can be used.
• Grub screws can be used in the appropriate holes to control front axle ride height/vertical travel.


NSR GT3.
Eligible cars: NSR: Porsche 997 GT3 rsr, Corvette C6r, Audi R8.
Cars must remain standard apart from the following allowable changes:
• Rear tyres can be upgraded to NSR ultra grips.
• Any grade of motor mount is allowed.
• Guide can be upgraded to screw fit item.
• Rear wheels can be either solid or air hubs.
• Overall axle width can be extended front and rear to maximum of 65mm using appropriate spacers, however when viewed from above, no part of the wheel/tyre should be visible.
• Any combination of NSR anglewinder gears can be used.
• Screws can be used to secure the motor into it’s mount.

Open inline GT/LMP.
A class for any hard plastic bodied 1/32 GT or LMP model in an ‘inline’ configuration.
The only restrictions go as follows:
• Motor RPM is capped at 25000rpm@12v.
• Overall Axle width shouldn’t exceed 65mm.
• When viewed from above no part of the wheel/tyre should be visible.
• All cars/ parts used must be available from Pendle Slot Racing.
• All parts must be used in a standard, unmodified condition.
• Offset motor mounts are not permitted.
