does the pitlane have lap counting facilities? as SSD and Carrera dont!

Oh yes, the new "pit box" switchboard will count all the laps.

Pit Box multifunctional:
- petrol refuelling
- fuel level monitoring
- breaking intesity adjustment
- lapcounter

all cool stuff we have been waiting for. It really looks amazing. Not to be negative but if they haven't fixed the lap counting problem it's going to be a problem. Every race, no matter # of cars 2 or more, a car get's missed and next thing you know your down a lap when you were ahead. You then have to stop and run the car across and that's if you catch it.
They still have painted themeselves in a corner with the guide- lc system. very limited car selection. I love my dtm's but crave some gts,lola's, F1's etc.. The new ones look great ,hope they are due soon.

I'm complaining to much. It's a good solid system. If you don't mind limited cars you won't regret it. But I am truly annoyed at the missed lap counting. It's laps that count in racing not looks. Ug. Seems most dominate when multiple cars cross at the same time. If anyone has connections or know something, plz share..

it's a shame they didn't include 3 ferrari's in the set biggrin.gif .
a black one would be great on the grey track!!!!
well, now give us the audi's, and dome's in digital please.

and i still don't understand why they change the colour of the borders/barriers.

mad 727 about your black mercedes: that's what i would call Living Proof!!!

scx will produce the new mercedes-c class (which is a more agressive looking car). this season mika hakkinen (F1 champion) is also competing in a black mercedes.
Scx will make the new audi a4 dtm in digital as well. they already made an opel vectra dtm (valvoline) in analogue which looks pretty cool, so i really hope they will bring it out digital.

have to say i'm a big fan of dtm racing, went to the real races 2 times and it's a real door-to-door and bumper-to-bumper type of racing, yes digital racing is a kind of dtm racing i would say!!! the 3 cars in the dtm set raced in my first dtm visit...............

I agree that system is looking good but it wont go as far as even Carrera will because it is limited to specific cars, not retro compatible and will not fit any existing system, how about an adaptor guys?
