Note 1: Some liveries differ from the catalogue images.
Note 2: The C2654 black Camaro is for USA and also for UK Collector Centres only.
Note 3: C2691 red Viper is the new livery in set C1161 to accompany the C2522 blue Viper.

Pity they could not at least make a new, longer end plates, 2005-type rear wing.

Do you know if the F1 cars have the new round guide blade system?

According to the catelogue, the new Porsche's have a new chassis, including the round guide blade, and rear lights too now.

As for the McLaren F1, it doesn't even appear in the catelog I have - only the version already available from last year. I imagine they will have updated it, but we thought that about last years release...

I've yet to see the new Lola, but the catelog says that still has the old guide blades - was that the case?

We wait with anticipation then - do we know when these are going to hit the UK shores and stores?

Oh yeah, luv the new Porsche liveries, ordered my Camaro, the MC12 road version looks great (nice to see they modified the rear wing accordingly), and i need to find a way to get that great looking red Viper too. Argghh, it's only money...

The two Porsche's look good(especially the green 66 one) , but does any one else think the batmobile looks quite cheap. Have a look at it with the police car(scale models website in the scalextric gallery). I thought they were going to make a ltd ed set like the starsky and hutch set. I was never going to buy it I just exspected something better from scalextric. The other cars look top notch though.

Hi All,

All, bar one, of the above cars have the vastly improved guide blade system (IMHO) in terms of road holding/performance. The Camaro, unfortunately, still has the blue guide blade. The MG Lola cars (not included above) also still have the blue guide blade system.

Nascar cars will soon be with us. No more info at present.

I saw the Black/Silver Camaro at the NSCC event and it has to be one of the best so far, that picture does not do it justice, blue guide or not. But USA and Collector Centre UK only??

Whats with these Country specific specials anyway? Do the distributors pay a premium for them in advance or something?

The green Porsche livery is from the Daytona 24 Hrs - class-winning car driven by the exceptional Patrick Long!!

The Gruppe M car is British GT I think... glorified track day car. Rubbish.

As for the Batmobile, well I went to see the movie last night. Fantastic film, and I might just have to indulge myself for the heck of it!!

Continuing on the Batmobile theme, how about Hornby releasing a special limited edition version in the khaki camouflage scheme, say 500 ?
