The first model is due July, these new 1:32 scale RTR slot cars launch with the 1968 BULLITT Ford Mustang – fully licensed with Ford, Warner Bros, and the Steve McQueen Estate. The Mustang will be rapidly followed by the assassin’s black Dodge Charger.

Other new models in racing liveries are due for release in September. All products available worldwide.


The launch of the Pioneer website will be on the 19th May. Pre-orders will be taken online directly. Products will be shipped from the factory in China directly to either UK, USA, Australia or Spain. Therefore orders will be processed from the most ‘local’ hub to the buyers address.

Pricing expected to be £32 = $65 (AUD) = $48 (USD) = €36

When the online sales site goes live, there will be a 'Golden Time' for folks to place pre-orders and benefit from a meaningful discount on available models.

Design engineering and planning was a joint Noble-USA & Noble-UK production with CAD data completed in England. Manufacture is taking place in China.

Looking at the Mustang, makes me want to get a 1:1 version of this car. Dang, I did this before with a Corvette, let's hope I resist this time.

Early congrats on what looks to be a great product.

Thank you for incorporating some of our (the slot car communities) suggestions into your products.

I hope that these first few releases do very well for you, and I hope that you are able to recoup some of your up front costs.

I think that they will sell very well, so that should allow you to build more cars for us in the future.

My dearest wish is that you stay in touch with us here on these slot car message boards, sort of like Maurizio from Slot.It does. I think that if you do, you will be pleasantly rewarded with big sales figures.

Woot! More DPR cars = A Good Thing ™
I also like having more choices for car styles in DPR.
Hopefully the brass bushings are an indication of tight tolerances and high quality parts.
I wasn't clear on the shipping, though. It sounds like this will be NON-retail, web-only, from China to the buyer transactions?

When I first heard about this project I was not very excited. I 'm not a huge muscle car fan, and there are so many cars from this era on the market.

Now having seen the almost final product I find I might change my mind. I seem to recall that the guys developing this wanted a good ootb runner. It all so looks like they went with a rim that's a match for the slot.it 15.8mm. If all that's true I'll probably wind up with a pair.

About time someone did these car's. Im really hoping they go as well without the magnet in They look very accurate, wheels etc. Even the driver in the mustang really looks like steve mcqueen!! They could be a new class at many clubs?(PRAY) Good luck with your venture, pioneer. I eagerly await...

Maybe I'm looking the gift horse in the mouth, but shouldn't someone offer a Mustang notchback at some point? There are a number of liveries that could be done for the early Trans Am cars for a start.

Very nice. Just make sure the wheels are the right size. Should be .512dia, give or take a thou. or two.

The ones in the pic seem to be a bit small, but, may be just the pic.
