I greatly prefer the Magic Studios ARC Pro app for running my Scalextric ARC Pro track. All my cars with all 3 versions of the Scalextric digital chips work great. My issue is with Slot it and NSR cars I have added the Slot it SISP15B SSD digital card to. These cars will run but the app does...
In addition to the successful 1 Mile Challenge Event, https://www.slotforum.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=195591&p=2342687 what about a Digital Event with full race simulation and pit strategy using the RCS64 RMS software?
This tread is to discuss interest in an event such as this and...
As a follow up to the actual Pace Car race demo video in this link https://www.slotforum.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=50963&p=2323941 I have been tweaking my new Slot.it pace car setup to get it to go faster and provide more challenging races, I don't like to lose , but I do like it if I can...
I have always wanted to record some variable speed Slot.it pace cars but never seem to get the time with work, sport, committee work & footy commitments etc.etc.
Now with the COVID-19 lockdown there is plenty of time at home of an evening so I had a play and recorded my first Slot.it pace car...
I'm getting ready our first 2 hour endurance race tomorrow night and spent some time this afternoon testing the cars and trying to get parity of performance.
Some of the cars are fast and you hardly need the throttle and others you can hold flat out for much longer so fuel burn will be an issue...
I have had the one XLC that for ages has not changed lanes on one side only, it would change to go straight through so the sensor was fine but just wouldn't change lanes from right to left, left to right was fine.
I thought I had tried everything and in the end I bought a new XLC to replace it...
This is my second Pioneer Legends Whitekit. The kit is the '37 Chevy Sedan. Again I went for a fantasy livery based on some old decals that I had left over from other projects (decals are from Patto's).
Putting the model together is straightforward after having done the Ford Coupe. Here I just...
New poster here, coming back into the hobby after a 30+ year break (last set was a Scalextric 400 with 6 wheel March).
I'm embarking on a 3-board fold-away project to allow me to race Scalextric with son and daughter. Each board is 1600mm x 600mm, with 18mm ply framing.
I've gone ahead and...
In the last couple of days I have been busy reducing the pile of whitekits sitting on my bench (or to be more precise in the boxes around my living room).
I have started with this '34 Ford Coupe legends racer. I have to say that Pionner hit a blockbuster with these models. They are fun...

Important firmware upgrade for the universal 'type C' chip, for SSD users: the new firmware fixes runaway car bug and a few other things.
Hi fellow slotheads. A Toronto based rug racer here. I've been racing and tuning non-mag slots for a few years now. I took a six year hiatus from the hobby and decided upon returning to jump into the SSD pool. I used to have a four lane analogue track setup that I later sold (and now regret...
I recently treated myself to an NSR Corvette.
It's a rocket ship in analogue mode.
As per the title and I can't see a neat way to chip it as the guide drop arm is located where I'd normally fit the slot-it chip.
Any advice on getting this car up and running for ARC Pro?
Has anyone successfully chipped an Arbath 500 for SSD and if so what chips will work?
I did check the chipping database but couldn't find anything.
How about fitting lights?
I really like the look of these cheeky little beasts and think they could be a good option for a one-make theme but...
A couple of us who race at Pantyffynnon club are having a really strange problem with our Slot.it SCP 2 controllers.
Essentially we have some APBs that the SCP2 works with and some that don't. Here is a break down:
Leon has 1 (power mod)
RichP has 2 (1 power mod, 1 standard)
I have been having so much fun racing my RCS64 variable speed pace cars lately I thought I would upload a video showing how these cars perform on a complex track with a radius one hairpin turn and a corner crossover.
I often have a race with no crashes and would say they are at least 95%...

here in Auckland we are working on a new digital class based on the old Mini.
We decided to go for a 1/24 Fujimi kit and convert to a slot car.
So we got 6 kits from Japan and HRS chassis.
The kit is very nice and the HRS chassis seems to be made just for it.
Paul did the...
