Hello,
News from the Shop:

The public release date of the 1/32 adjustable chassis was on Monday, November 24, 2003. Pre-Orders were shipped the week prior to the public release. Initial response was tremendous, above and beyond all expectations. My thanks go out to those who helped with their comments, suggestions, and financial support through their pre-orders.

In hopes to improve public acceptance of this new chassis, I have temporarily reduced the selling price on most of the 1/32 inventory. I have also begun research into providing a traditional guide flag system. Initial results show that it is very
simple to modify the current platform to accept a guide flag, and the chassis is responsive in a traditional manner. A guide flag can be added by most anyone to suit their individual guide system preferences.

Due to some compatibility concerns, the Mabuchi motor is no longer offered. We are currently seeking another motor to offer as a high-performance option. We hope to re-introduce a new high-performance motor in February.

Nearly all of SlotCarHeroes resources in recent months are channeled into this 1/32 adjustable chassis project in hopes of providing something unique, and desperately needed in the marketplace. It is still hoped that this effort will eventually bare fruit.

Thank you,

Tim Johnson

Here are some pictures of the Guide flag system. Modifications are very simple and only take a few minutes to install. a) Make a .25 inch cut on either side of the nose platform.
Enlarge the guide pin hole to accept the guide flag post. c) Make two bends to the nose platform to make space allowance for the guide flag.

Here are some pictures of body options for the 1/32 Adjustable Chassis:

I've just got to the same conclusion, although I'm installing a TSRF Scalex/Ninco replacement Guide, which I don't think requires the front of the chassis to be bent, just enlarge the guide post hole.

I'll get back to you when results are known.

Hi Alan,
Hope you had a good Christmas and New Years. Just wondering if you've had an opportunity to try out the TSRF guide flag and what your thoughts were.

Thanks!
