It's the CSCRA classes this Wednesday night, 1.5 litre F1 and Pre 72 sports.
Track should be just right with fresh rubber down the grip levels will be ideal!
Doors open at 7.30pm till last just before cocktails are served.
Had a reasonable turn out of seven on Wednesday night.
Good to see Chris Musto and Alan who haven't been seen for a few weeks.
Ran both classes but only had time to run one final so we opted for the Gp class, results were:
1st... John S............ 22 laps
2nd.. Chris Musto.... 21 laps
3rd..Steve K........... 20 laps
4th.. Steve Carter... 19 laps
5th.. John Dilworth.. 17.61 laps
6th.. John Crocker.. 17.61 laps [ both finished on the same lap but John D's car had it's nose just in front!]
He misses you, Sire.
Chopper had just returned from five days in NYC and was busily showing everyone his photos. Evidently they have lots of tall square shaped buildings there and CBGBs is now an up-market store with $3500 coats and some memorabilia that he wasn't allowed to photograph.
Thanks to John S for the loaned GP car last Wednesday. Nice to see Steve Carter again.
I also tender my excuses.I deserve NULL POINTS, ZERO PUNTE... I was driving a cheater car, rear engined BRM. My shameful night- my conscience has been tormenting me ever since. Bump chopper up the CSRA world championships immediately!
