Hi All

Just need a bit of a hand, I was looking around here the other day and clicked on to a site that had the member trying to collect a number of F1 cars in number order eg Mclaren no's 1 & 2 Williams 3 & 4. I was thinking of doing that as well but for the life of me I cannot remember
the website (must be that kick to the hand the cow gave me
) or who on the forum owned the site, can anybody help me? Thanks heaps sorry if this is in the wrong section.

Regards
Brett

I'm also building up an F1 car collection, but have my own slightly differant method. I've been buying pairs of F1 cars over th elast few years.

2007:
Scalextric Mclaren Hamilton #2
Scalextric Ferrari #5 Raikkonen

2009:
Scalextric Brawn GP #22 Button
Carrera RedBull #15 Vettel

2010:
Carrera Ferrari #8 Alonso
Scalextric Mercedes #3 Schumacher (to be my next order)

That small list might help you out with some numbers available. Good luck!

Hi Brett

I'm sure you know this already, but...

The standings in the previous years championship, dictates the numbers for the following years cars.
New teams get the highest numbers, of course.
The teams second driver always gets the next number no matter what.

You can find out all the drivers numbers by checking the F1 sites for years results tables.

Hope that helps.

Si.

Hi All

Thanks for the replies, this guys site was good because he had great pictures of the cars and they ran in number order, I think they were from different years but I really liked the site just wish I could find it again

I want 2 of each car for the teams do my own drivers and constructors championships. Would be cool I reckon to have that (F1) and a A1GP racing for my mates and myself to dabble in.
