Little bit of information about the night from Keith Packer:-

Well done Brian with qualifying record and win but brilliant run from Josh to set new PB in qualy then add over 3 laps to his final record. Getting there "young un". New final PB for Simon too and first time over 100 for both Derek and Frank.

Race report:-

It was an unusually quite night as F1 goes and there were 9 of us to enter the fray. in the "C" final was Derek, Robbie and Ralph, Ralph went into the lead which he kept followed by Robbie and Derek, and that was the finishing order with Ralph obviously sandbagging in qualy and Robbie driving in his usual smooth style it was a very quiet affair. So it was Ralph 1st, Robbie 2nd and Derek 3rd. In the "B" final was Ian, Simon and Frank, Simon went into the lead with a very fast car behind him Ian was keeping it nice and steady although he lost a bit of time when the rear wing came off and Frank was struggling a bit at the back, Had Simon not had so many offs he would have finished further up the scoreboard . At the finish it was Simon 1st, Ian 2nd and Derek 3rd. The "A" final was the race of the night with the final scores not showing how close the racing was. Brian went into the lead showing good consistency all through with less than 1/2 a lap difference on all lanes and going on to take the overall win, but he was made to work for his money as the other 2 were fast and Josh in particular was running along side Brian for lap after lap which made the racing not only enjoyable to watch but also to race in. At the end it was Brian 1st, Josh 2nd and Steve 3rd.The driver of the night must go to Josh who is definitly a winner in the making with his performance and he also posted the fastest lap time. The top 3 were Brian, Josh and Simon.
