Hi Everyone
Please see below results for last Fridays fun
Thanks to Brain for the race report and to Ian for the pics
Race report:-
With Sandy away in Italy and Ralph and Sue not being able to make it only 7 of us raced. In the "B" final was Brian, Simon and Ian. Brian went into the lead followed by Ian and Simon, Brian carried on to pull away from the other two while Ian had got a 3 lap lead over Simon who was racing his new "Mack" Falcon sports chassis but this shrank to 11/2 laps by the end of the 3rd segment, but then Simon picked up the pace while Ian was not having a good run on red and in the end it was Brian 1st, Simon 2nd and Ian 3rd. In the "A" final was Greg, Steve, Josh and Terry. At the end of the 1st segment Steve had a 4/100ths of a lap lead over Greg who was running a car he had bought for £10 ( gnash gnash) and he led Terry by 3 laps who led Josh by 3/4 of a lap. It all started to change as Greg got faster and faster, Steve went into 2nd place and Josh overtook Terry and that's how it stayed until the end . Driver of the night must go to Greg for his masterful display with his £10 car ( and I say again gnash gnash) and also top qualy and fastest time. The top three were Greg, Brian and Steve.
