Hi,

I recently started on Scalextric, after I saw a picture of myself playing with an oval one when I was 4 years old in the 70's, all those great memories came back in a second, and I couldn't resist the idea to start over, specially when I'm having my first child in a few weeks (I guess this is an old excuse)

Anyway I was wondering if is possible to buy 1:32 new tyres on different sizes with print brand on the side (Michellin, Good Year, Dunlop)

Cheers and sorry for the newbie post.

I make all my own decals for tyres. I used to print them onto decal paper and stick them on but found they would come off when running. Also certain compounds of tyres didn't like this.

I have started printing them on regular paper and super gluing them to the tyre. I add a TINY bit of super glue to the tyre with a cocktail stick and apply the decal with tweezers.

I don't do any more than that and they come out great and are really robust.

Pattos (Google "pattos place") has a selection of tyre "decals". I now use the stickers which blend well on the tyre (no visible edges) and stick well onto all the makes of tyre I have tried.

Cheers,

Cheer Phillip,

I've been looking at Pattos web page, and I saw the sticker option...are these good even to use on cars that I plan to race with or just for exhibit ones?
