For those who might interest it.. Schuco has brought out a new series of 1/32 diecasts! It are all motorcycles... there is a box with Vespa's, one with old Ducati's, and one with new motorcyles and quads. On a 1:1 track there are allways lots of bikes and quads ha!

If bought two vespa's for 5 euros! And I think they look really nice! They will look great on my permanent track with the scenery fully done! (In a month I start the track)

A few pics:

New-Ray, which is a Chinese company, makes some wonderful 1/32 scale motorcycles, scooters and quads (in fact the Schuco ones could be made by New-Ray) and rhese are rather inexpensive. I purchased the set of Ducattis. They also make Vespas, Hondas, Suzuki and possibly Yamahas. They are not easy to locate. I hate to say it but the best place to find these is probably eBay.

Certainly check your local £1 shop before ebay for this kinda stuff. They often have the new-ray 1/32 bikes and dies cast cars (land rovers, mercs, audi tt etc.) and they cost a fraction of what ppl try to charge for the same thing on ebay.

You can usually pick the bikes up for £1 a peice and on ebay ppl charge £2.50 or so plus P&P!

QUOTE (BEEJAY7 @ 7 Aug 2004, 19:45)PS Reminds me of my chocolate brown and chrome GS from the sixties!.
Vespas - Pah!

Wish I still had my Lambretta GT200 complete with all the Mod bits and 14 chrome mirrors. Must be worth a fortune now.

Ah! the 60s - if only I could remember them.

I'm not sure if they still do them but BTS Mouldings, who make repro bits for Scalextric cars, used to do a complete range of 1/32 scooter kits- from Lambretta LD onwards.
