I thought do something crazy, invite everyone to come...
I understand that I won't find someone from the UK...but now our closest neighbors in Belgium are also very busy driving Digital.
We have the car controls, the food and drinks cost nothing more if you pay 15 euros for participation.
lease car (5 euros).
we are looking for 8 teams a 3 drivers...
register now!!!
Location near airport Schiphol.

So you are going to host 24 people in your haven...that's a lot of people.
Who knows, maybe Wayne will come if you let him sleep in your camper ;-)
Are people allowed to bring their own cars? If so, do you have a regulation guidebook?

yes it will be a challange, we have a pdf with regulations, but nobody
except we use these regulations and these cars.. so you can build them yourself, but just to be on the safe side, we build them as a lease car

We are in, 2 drivers for sure, most likely 3. I saw the technical specs for the cars. If possible, do you also have the race rules? We prefer to use car from you if possible. If possible a Calibra but I can imagine you will make the car choice a lottery. Team name depending on the 3th driver, I let you know!

who doesn't want a calibra, it is known that this car is normally the fastest in the field with almost every manufacturer. But I beat 99% with my Alpha. But even if Sebastiaan drives a soapbox I can't beat him. Drawing lots is a good idea.
Rules are discussed in detail before the game. Usually the one with the most rounds wins hahaha.
However, with fuel module on.
Equal number of hours per driver. Mandatory change of driver every half hour in the pit. 5 second penalty (in pit) if you constantly collide with other cars or unsafe release.

Hi guys,
never saw a digital race in real life, only on Youtube. I will contact you a few days before the race if there is a possibility to come over for a few hours and to watch, and photograph?, this event. Would be nice to meet some of you Slotforum Dutchies.

I saw the DISCA event and it was already on my agenda. But that weekend I have to move my son and I see no possibility to visit.... :-(

Great initiative Henri, does trigger some memories.
Ninco DTM's were the cars for the very first (Benelux) Slotrace series I organized some 25 years ago.
In fact it made me dig up some "golden oldies" from the archives.
...these were the remains off the last Ninco DTM Mercedes C class I raced in 1997.
Looks like a barn find right? There's some old battle damage here and there, its missing a mirror and a rear wing...and a chassis. Not to mention the Tamiya clear that hasn't aged very well.

But with lots of Tamiya Polishing compound and lots and lots of elbow grease...
an old chassis found in another box and some rear wheels taken from a Ninco Acura...
...Guess who's back

So under the Dutch motto "oude knarren met hun oude karren" (Old hands with their old carts)...
...I also dug up an "old hand" as one of my team mates...although back then he was one of my main rivals in the "Hot Slot on Tour" DTM series.
So count me in for the race, Team name "HotSlot revisited"
Old hand Drivers: Willem Kloppenburg & Tamar Nelwan
Young talented driver: Ezra Elsendoorn
I have to confess that under and according to your current Tech rules...the "old Warsteiner" Merc body is highly illegal😬...so on fore hand we'll take any penalty issued 😇
Off course we'll stick a new perfectly legal Olifer 3D chassis under the body...but it would really mean a lot to me and Willem if we could run this "old cart" once more.
