Hi boys,

this is the car i want to built.

As donor car i´ll use the body of a Carrera 166/212.
A lot of bodywork, cuttings and built new body parts, has to be done.
As Chassis i´ll use a Penelope Pitlane GP chassis kit. Also whells and inlets.

Saw this car on the Mille Miglia this year and thought that this must be one of my concourse cars for next year at Mini-Mille-Miglia.

Maybe that i have some questions? Nöööö, a lot of questions for some parts that i have to change.

If anyone has built this car, please let me know.

to be continued....

Sooo,

here are the first pics of the "stripped" bondor body.

The original air intake is closed
the roof is cut of
The backfenders are also cut of
the cockpit is closed with a peace of 1mm plastic sheet and waits for it´s final form
first putty on the nose, must be 3 mm longer than the original bodyshape. air openings, grill etc must be formed

That is the beginning. There´s a lot of filling and sanding to do.
And here is my first question: How can i form the edge betwin cockpit and bodyside?
But

these will be nearly the curves of the body

critics and helps are more than welcome

The first nose modeling is done.

The form becomes better and better to the original form.

Here is an original pic.

and here is the form i´ve made right now. There is a lot of forming to do.

the different noses of the carrera 166/212 an my "creation" from the side.

The nose of the 212 Export is nearly 3mm longer and much more filigran. You can see the different forms of the grills.
Made the form with 1mm plastic sheet and a lot of putty.
