Here, from the museum is a 1/32nd scale Sanwa set from Japan. The 2 cars in this set are a Jaguar XKE and a Mercedes Silver Arrow. The chassis is very crude. The motors are 3 1/2 volts. The drivers seem rather tall.I also show the 2 cars assembled.You might take the time to read some of the badly translated English. Its hilarious.This is a very rare set

Yep, very amusing - and as usual, cars on boxtop aren't the same!
Do you have to totally assemble the cars or is some of it already done?
Great find in any case.

the transmission looks like a policar one. very nice. oddly enough I like the cars.

Now you know where Policar got the idea ;). Actually there were a few cars using the same system in the 60s, Faller and may be Gama.
For a home set, it works really well, gives the cars brakes and a lower top speed making them more controllable.
