Very nicely done.
So far I’ve seen the 59 T-bird, the 63 split window Corvette and now this Mustang from AMT. Anyone know of other cars in this 1/32 scale All Stars series?

Studebaker Avant and Futura/Falcon ute/pickup started the ball rolling I think.
Thank you very kindly Chappyman66.

They just released a 32-Ford as well.

This was one of my early builds and is riddled with mistakes. I have a hunger to learn, so I try experiments.

1) The chassis is too far forward to the body. I tried to use the original stubs inside the body as body posts. I'll never do that again. Clean the body out and install posts where I want them from now on. Not where the kit wants them.

2) Rear wheels/tires look nice. But they are too wide for this slow class, narrow car. The car has no forgiveness around a corner until it just rolls out. The brass chassis weight is all the way forward already. It's a pig.

3) Tamiya light metallic blue needs clear coat to shine. That's just the way some metallics are.

4) I could have at least installed the dashboard. There seems to be room for it.

I found another kit. I have a chance to make improvements on the next one. Then compare cars.

Perhaps. But still a great looking slot car.

My strongest ability is fixing mistakes.
Thank you very kindly, Mfogg.

I enjoy the challenge and opportunity to make things better. But rather than just changing the existing car. I prefer to make a new platform and compare the changes.

These kits are everywhere. So I bought these extra kits when they went on sale. Trisha if you're looking. Unlike your Beetles, this is not the beginning of a barn full of Mustangs (At least I don't think so, yet).

Does this kit exist in the notch back version?
Hi Gerald. I thought it was available in 1/32. But it was actually a 1/25 scale version I was thinking of. I must be getting old...
