Sure. Price includes shipping and it's too much even within the 48-states.

May I suggest that you separate the item price and the postage costs.
If people want stuff they are usually willing to pay the shipping cost.

I appreciate the suggestion however rightfully or wrongfully I have been selling this way for over 20 years. Now I probably end up with less money. I know when I purchase something I decide what's it worth to me... and if shipping isn't included I don't really know what it will cost off the bat. Now if you think that would open the sell to other countries it wouldn't. For ease of the process it's 48-states only.

Why I am persevering with this discussion is that I see a lot of US sellers on various platforms state, "lower 48 only."

Is it laziness? is it dont want to sell internationally? I just dont get it. I sell all over the globe and always quote a unit price and a shipping price.

And a further suggestion is to try a forum that is based in the US with more US based members such as Home Racing World or Slotblog.

In my case it simply comes from selling on eBay (lookup past sales including shipping and price accordingly). For a variety of reasons it's much safer to sell only in the US and shipping wise the 48-states. Say I sold it to someone on the moon and they decide "they don't like it for any reason" (doesn't have to make sense) even if I state no returns I can be forced to accept it back and pay for shipping both ways. Paypal has similar "rules".

As far as listing it here I only do it to give back (to some degree). Here I just sold 119 pieces of Carrera track (one bundle) and my terminal block/controller stations. I could have broken the track apart and sold them for more on eBay but I'd rather they find a nice home here. The controllers are listed on eBay and more than likely that's where they will sell...
