The pics are all quality pics in their own way, and so very, very different that picking just one was nearly impossible. Personal preferences of setting, scene, implied action, and lighting will likely determine the winner. They all deserve honourable mention though, which they have achieved by just being here!

Well the pre-selection drew a number of photos with the same vote. So 12 were picked.

We're keeping the voting now anonymous (as in we're not saying who's is who's) so as not to influence any voting. We'll say all on Sunday evening.

it has taken me several hours to whittle them down to just the five I have in front of me now and I felt like an assassin, each time I removed one.
The standard is absolutely magnificent.
I feel I am going to sit on these five until Sunday and then have a nervous breakdown at the last minute.

I'm with Gunther on the curiosity to see the entries that didn't make the final 12. Is there any chance that you'll be posting the other pics?

I like many others love the pictures that members have given the time to take photographs for the forum!
