For anyone interested, the 2005 Z06 Corvette will be packing 500 horsepower with its 7.0-liter V-8 engine. Sources are speculating that Z06 coupe, shown here, will be introduced at the Los Angeles Auto Show in January, followed days later by the convertible introduction at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit.

Wider tires and Brembo brake calipers give the first clue to the true identity of this masked Corvette. Rumors of a removable hardtop option are also circulating. But we may have to wait till January to find out more.

Top Gear are allowed to review cars before they're released. Last night they reviewed the Chrysler 300C-I dont think thats been released. Anyway, they have definitely reviewed that red Corvette.

I first saw the C6 at Charlotte Motor Speedway about a month ago. Spotted several on the streets here in the US. Beautiful car. I really love the C5 and thought it would be a real tough act to follow. The C6, although it looks like something that Ferrari might do, is a very worthy successor.
