3D printed engine from the UK ?

Hi,

I have a project I'm gathering parts for and I need a blown motor as part of it. There are loads of 3D printed engines in the US, but the postage is a killer! Is there a UK seller that is selling these engines?

That would certainly do, but I don't have anybody that can print it off for me :-(
I've tried asking, but I'm always told it can't be done or it's too difficult etc etc.
It's a bit like trying to sell your used car at a garage, 'sharp intake of breath and a rub of the chin'.

If there is somebody here on the forum and in the UK that can print, I'd be interested to hear form them.

You could try fashioning engines from Milliput and household recycling materials. I suspect you'd be quickly surprised by the results you achieve.

They are printable with the right settings.
The motor in this T70 came off an FDM printer.

Sadly I don't have a printer, money to afford one or the ability to use one if I had one. So I'm very much looking to buy a finished item from somebody (in the UK because of postage fees).

Well not UK based but had you thought of trying Spain??
Exin did a Ford Mustang with a blown engine (below)

Now (fortunately) Slotmania does a few repro parts for this car and this includes the motor, the left and the right exhaust stacks.

Now I reckon, with a bit of jiggery-pokery these might fit the bill? Combined cost is 20euros plus postage. They are in stock, website link is Ford Mustang - Slotmania.

Robbush, you would be better of starting a new post in the 3D printing forum or asking the mods to move this. If you ask there I'm sure someone will be able to help.

That engine is good enough and I'd be making the pipes from scratch anyway.
I have book marked that page, thanks again.
As you may have guessed, the engine is for the Rat Rod as an upgrade to what it comes with 🤗
It's getting a hand made brass chassis, just because I want to have a brass chassis 😁

OK, that is a bit steep, got to admit !!
I subscribe to their newsletter and they often have sales and offers, this sometimes include free (or subsidized postage). Maybe worth considering?
