This is my first attempt with cutting up commercial track. I worked with the following goals:
- fit on my existing table
- have a real pit lane
- have a racing-line lane change (cuz they look cool)
- minimise the use of R1's whilst maximising track length
- hard enough for me ... easy for my 7 year old son



There is also a plan for a partial 3 lane version along the back straight.
I must credit shaumbmx and drummer with many of the ideas in these layout.

The track is fun to drive, and sub 5 second laps with "standard cars" are realistic once I tidy things up.

Very neat little plan, gtslot! That cut-up LC is very innovative! How did you manage to put it in the trackeditor [or is it photo-chopped]? Also, high marks on using a combination of R1/R2/R3's. Clever, clever ..

Thanks for the comments. The previous Trackpower image was "photo-chopped". Here is a photo of the real curved pitlane exit:



The XJ220 (with lights on) is leaving the pit lane to merge with the XJR9. You can see I have a lot of work to do on scenery
