Another outing for the plastic track, with another new arrival (welcome, Graham) and a good turnout of seven.

The increasingly snowy weather meant that Rob arrived with no drama (OK it was a bit slippy crossing the road), Mike with the first of a new snowfall, then Marc and Robin with tales of an interesting drive, then we heard that Clive had had to turn back and go home.

Rather than do the same, we put up the track and unleashed the World GT cars for the first time. They varied from box-stock Hornby to SCX, slot-it, Fly and modified Hornby. Marc's modded Skyline was the class of the field, very much faster and grippier than the rest, just a bit bothered by the bumpy straight. Robin's Scalex Aston was second, Rob's Scalex Viper was third and Kevin's SCX "slotforum" Aston Fourth, followed by Andy (brand-new slot-it F40), Mike (gripless slot-it 962 revived by new tyres) and Graham (slot-it Nissan).

After the meeting it emerged that it had continued to snow, so we headed off for home quickly.

Nest week, same place different track - it's HO week - come and have fun!
