After the Champions League event I thought it would be a great idea to run an endurance race on our track on a Sunday in October.

We have a licensed bar so if we start at 9 the bar can be at 2pm visited.

We plan an entrance fee of £30/£35 per team to include a packet of crisps and a sandwich of your choice ham or chicken or cheese for example and a prize.

Free tea and coffee during the race.

Rules to be published..

1 driver, 1 mechanic and 1 marshal per team will be required.

In addition any slot car cars or parts required can be pre ordered at club prices.

Let us know if you want to participate and what type of car you prefer!

We will probably have started Season 5 of Champions League by October could this not be done as an interim series and run over summer and early autumn ?

Sounds like a good idea but won't October clash with the start of the Champions League, perhaps better to have it in September.

This is an idea thought about last year, (there will be emails to champions league club reps), but would probabley be better july/august dependant on responces from emails, cars again might be dependant on these as well. Also I think 6hours would be better value look at whats being paid for Gaydon and whats on offer here.

I have just posted via emails about a possible event in November for champions league teams, will let the rest of you know when I get answers.
