Rockingham Slot Car Club are pleased to invite entries for our 1st digital event of 2021 which will be run to DiSCA WEC GT Specification.
The date for your diaries is the weekend of July 17th-18th (Around 10 weeks from now).
Rules can be found at www.officialdisca.com

The event will be a 6 hour endurance race and be open to teams of 2 or more with a maximum of 14 teams.

The event will be run using the usual hand out tyres, 2 sets of N18 and 1 set of F22 compound, these will be available for practice/qualifying on Sunday morning.
There will be no handout motors, we will however be keeping a eye on suspect cars and will be working on the trust of our fellow competitors!
Any suspect cars may be subjected to an RPM test.

Entry fee is £40 per team and entries will be confirmed on receipt of an initial deposit of £10 which can be made via paypal to [email protected]
*NOTE* In the event that Rockingham has to cancel the event due to any Government imposed restrictions all deposits WILL BE REFUNDED.
Deposits paid by any team that "No Shows" WILL NOT BE REFUNDED.
Entry fee remaining balance of £30 per team should be paid on the day.

A full timetable will be announced in due course.

We hope that you're all as keen to get racing as we are.

Cheers.
Nik.

A shout out to anyone that would like race in this event. Any single racers that couldn't get the rest of a team up or someone that has been dropped either because the rest of the team dropped out or you just were not picked. Send me a PM and lets see if we can get another a team up,
PM sent.
Hello Gents & Friends
As Nik posted earlier, even though I'm fully vaccinated...quarantine regulations on both sides of the pond make it impossible for me to travel to the UK. So no participants from the Low Lands for this year's Rock Bull 6hr.
But I will be there in "spirit" and will be following the event.
I've send our old and trusted Ford GT LM to Wayne Lander for Team Chimera's debut, so part of me will be there.

Wishing all the teams a very pleasant, enjoyable and competitive event.
Hopefully next time the RSCC hosts an big Oxigen event...I will be able to attend(y)

With kind regards
Tamar

Slight forum error above folks, on a mobile phone I honestly thought loud bloke and I were in private messages 😂

Thanks to Tamar for his assistance in getting Chimaera model sport onto the grid, our car will be the Ford GT as first raced at LE Mans in 2019 and subsequently Rockbull ring among others.

Anyhow, best of luck to all with the inevitable last minute car prep. See you all on Saturday.
Qualifying session in progress, just 10 minutes to go, Gas monkeys just mounted a new set of tires to set a good time.

What a great weekend that was, great to see so many familiar faces after such a long period of "downtime".
The result table as posted by Tamar is correct, well done to our winners and placemen, but also well done and a big thankyou to everybody who made the effort to attend the event and make it possible. Special thanks go to Mr. Wade, Mr. Underwood and Mr White for helping put it all together on Friday, also to Mr. Skipp for advice and knowledge of the Slot.it Chrono system.
Keep the photos coming if you have them, also team reports if you want to post them?
I'm going for a long lie down in a darkened room.
Cheers.
Nik.

Well done guys A big thanks to Nick and everyone that made it all work so well, this was only my second attempt at this digital malarkey and I must confess I was impressed how everything worked.

A big thank you to Wayne and to Tamar for lending us such a good car.

All the best
David

Congrats to you and the team for the win.
