Hello everybody !

Is there any members from Swiss who have got 956 or Jaguar XJR/9 from Scalextric ?

I think that these models where sold only in sets 15 years ago. There were one 956 "Rothmans" (or "Racing") and an other with "Texaco" livery

I don't have the cars (mine were destroyed many moons ago when I was a nipper) but I believe they were the set cars from the "Le Mans 24Hr" sets of the time.

I recall a Rothmans 956 and Jag's in both purple "Silk Cut" livery and also a castrol livery. Not sure how many other liveries they produced but I've certainly seen plenty of these in various conditions on e-bay.

I saw a Scalextric 962 Rothmans on Ebay.co.uk only this morning. 956 Rothmans
Here is an XJR9 in Castrol livery: CASTROL XJR9 Both these sellers will ship worldwide so shipping to Switzerland wouldnt be a problem.

I have both the Rothmans Porsche and Silk Cut Jag. They were sold boxed in Australia so I would assume they were sold the same all over the world.

Mike I have plenty of old Scaley 956s still in their boxes, will look for the rothmans. I only have one Jag (not sure of the livery until I get to the track) and it is not in great condition from memory.

We are racing tonight if you fancy a longish night out!

For tonight, thanks a lot, but I have to take my car after working , I had a "pitstop" to do for my brakes....the bill will be very sympatic

Home Racng World has some of the Porsche 956 that are very reasonably priced.
I think there's two different colors available, red and yellow.
