A few photos showing the use of one of my 3D printed chassis with a Policar gearbox inserted in a narrow 1960's body (a Lotus 21 as it happens).

Lovely! Is the 21 the Scalextric F1 car that came out around the same time as the Scalex sharknose ferrari? Yours seems much slimmer but similar shape.

Looks like a Dave Jones shell to me.

If you don't mind a suggestion Andi that will make your lovely build even better, use the earlier Immense Miniatures Jim Clark head with the peak that is held on by a strap which Clark wore when he raced the Lotus 21 in 1961 rather than the later press stud version from 1963.

See, David can tell Andi stuff like that - whereas, even though I noticed too, I would never whisper....

You are mistaken, everyone is free to tell me stuff, how else can one learn? That is the point of posting things on a forum right?

David has seen this before and indeed made the same comment ;)

I made a mistake when ordering and haven't had the need to order any thing else from immense yet....

Cheers All

Nice work, Andi.

In spite of the motor protruding a long way in to the cockpit the driver and body work fit well together.

I am sure it will work well once tuned.
