Hello All You DIGITAL FANS

On SATURDAY 29th Septemeber,

The FALCON Raceway

will be playing host to a

DIGITAL SlotCar Super Day

How would you like to Race on our Club NASCAR Oval in the Morning

Then on the Club GT Track running LMP and GT Cars in a LeMans Style Event

So there are the car Classes

And here are the tracks

Days Racing Format & Time Scale

10am Club NASCARS

12 noon LUNCH BREACK

1 PM LeMans Race

This is a MIXED Class Race you will run either a GT or a LMP Class Car in Each Heat

Races will be run on a Time Limited Race with TOTAL Laps counted for race results

Each Car Class with have different Fuel Burn and Useage rates

Cost for Days Racing will be £10 Per Person.

Racing will be held in the StMartins Church Hall Basildon

This is Located 10 mins from either the A127 or A13 Junction of the M25 and 500 yards from Basildon Train Station

So who's interested then ????

Nascars will be Supplied so as to Level the Playing Field

LMP & GT cars will Be Standard Scalextric Cars with Sport Silicone Tyres and minimal modifications

Cars will be run with STANDARD MOTORS & GEARS & SSD Chip

No massive re tuning or expensensive parts to buy

These cars run very well as they are on our track with just a little weight up front and a little fetterling

Please feel free to ask any questions here and we will try to answer them as best as we can

Man, I wish I was there. That road course looks great, and I've always wanted to run on that oval. Digital events over here are growing, but still few and far between.

Any one is welcome to spectate.
Youngsters are welcome but must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
They must also be able to consentrate on fuel strategy etc.
You can also come for just one of the events if you like.

Always thought this would go down well in the usa.
It may take me some time but I plan to build a tri oval and brick yard style track eventually.

I would love to come over for a race day would it be possible to bring a friend he pick up this digital racing
and is not bad,He does beat me most of the time well being the host you cant win not right.

If it wasn't my wife's birthday I would be entering for this - and probably bring a couple of guys with me.

Let me know when the next one is!

Would love to see photos and a review of how the day went - it's the sort of thing we would like to run eventually at our club.

Ok time for an event update,

In the morning will be running the club supplied NASCAR's these are lane and controller coded

So you will get to run each car and controller during the Oval event.

In the afternoon we are moving onto the GT track and the LeMans style event

This will consist of a LMP car and a GT car from the scalextric range

These cars will have to fitted with a Standard chip from scalextric no modded or icp chips please

Bodies may be painted , magnets removed and weight may be added

Also scalextric SPORT SILICONE Tyres must be fitted to the rears

Each will be run 3 times with different settings for LMP and GT cars

This will be a timed race with total laps winning

Just a quick up date

ran the Club cars on the oval Thursday night

This produced some super close racing with several races over 100 laps finishing with 3 cars on the same lap

The last running of the LeMans class produced after 6 heats 2 drivers on the same lap

Still plenty of room left as we can accommodate lots of drivers on this day

So get your entries in
