Agree, Matthew. Just had a few laps around the Mess, and had a nice surprise. The steering still works. Tyres are well past their best, so I'll look for replacements ASAP. A rather nice slot car and aesthetically pleasing in my view, too.

A Policar version in 1:32 wouldn't be too tragic. Maurizio?

There is a Protoslot version of the 512BB here
Here is my favorite BB, This one is a carbon fibre 1/24th body (I thought I had taken a picture of the finished car but can't find it).
There is also a 1/32nd version released many years ago by a company called Slotissimo.

So far we've only seen nice scale cars, here are a few of the rougher crowd.
All 3 made in Germany, the red one by Carrera, the other 2 are by GGN (I think)

This one is closer to scale, made by a French company called Joma, interesting chassis.

We had a family holiday in Southend, early seventies, dad and I visited wonderland and had an hour or so on the track with hired cars.
To say it was a bit of a shock would be an understatement, I had a large figure of eight scaley track in the garage at the time, I thought my Revell/ monogram ladder chassis cars were good, this was something else .
