I've harboured passion for Porsche's way of doing things down many decades, and continue to marvel at the many Porsche slot cars we can buy, or build, that make our hobby such an enormously interesting pleasure.

This thread, I hope, will result in 'everything' Porsche - your models, photographs, memories and yarns. And anything else, of course.

All contributions will be of great interest, as usual, and I, therefore, thank you in advance.

A few pics below to start the ball rolling.

I don't have much to contribute. All I have is a lowly little Strombecker Porsche RS 61:

I do like Porsche cars, though. I think the 904 is one of the best looking GT's ever.

A few more of my favourites. All a long time ago, of course, but it remains very real to me.

My Sideways Porsche 935/78 Moby Dick. A great looking car that performs well on my home track.

“Arse engined Hitler mobiles”

only joking I too have a soft spot for Stuttgart race cars

after all I did see the 956 race debut

look forward to some 956 / 962 builds

My brother’s and my Scalextric set, as lads, included two Porsches, while he chose a kit with a Super Shells Carerra 6 body and K motor when our father treated us to a pair of ‘proper’ cars

A Slot.it Porsche 962C white kit, chopped and mod'ed into the Joest Porsche 962C as seen and photographed at Watkins Glen 1991, or at least as close as I could reasonably get.

Peter your cars look brilliant, I like both of them. The 962C is different to the majority of 962 slot cars.
Mark, I forgot about the Porsche formula junior cars. I have 2 or 3 of them as I like running them despite the guide having issues on the lane changer track.

Love your RS61! The chrome appears exceptional, and the detail work superb. Well done!

It came to me used, in pretty good condition but missing a windscreen, which was replaced with one from Dart Hobbies.
