Porsche used to be quite famous for these pictures. Ferry in particular liked to tell the world that his chassis were so light in weight that even he could pick them up.
Where the 917 is concerned, however, he scarcely knew about the project until... he received the bill. The rows are now part of Porsche folklore, of course, and continue to make me laugh.

And you should really do this on your own without anyone to support the ladder.Did you know most ladder deaths are from falls of 10 feet or less...it's statistically safer the higher you go...right where's that triple ladder........
