Walking into the shower wearing your slippers, or stepping into the bath with your Y-fronts in situ are traits of busy people in their 40s. Your mind is thinking about important things to do with work and family.
When you reach your fifties, the only way to get a sensible reply to a question is to ask yourself that question, so you start muttering to yourself. In your 60s, you start to laugh at things that others don't find funny, and by the time you reach your 70s, you not only forget things, you just don't care about forgetting things.
At my age you sit in the bath in your pants, laughing, muttering and mumbling, and hoping you can remember to put your trousers on before venturing out into the world.
Nothing to worry about because if someone else spots three of anything, be assured that they will let you know...
