I've harboured passion for Porsche's way of doing things down many decades, and continue to marvel at the many Porsche slot cars we can buy, or build, that make our hobby such an enormously interesting pleasure.

This thread, I hope, will result in 'everything' Porsche - your models, photographs, memories and yarns. And anything else, of course.

All contributions will be of great interest, as usual, and I, therefore, thank you in advance.

A few pics below to start the ball rolling.

I'm glad you agree Peter, I was worried I had too many as I have in excess of 30 911s. I hope to post some photos of my 8 Ninco Porsches over the next few days.

Speaking of Ninco...

Anybody have their 356's in race trim you post?

Love those little potato bugs.

Andre
My 3 Ninco 356s are road cars, no race cars. They do look great.
I thought there were some racing versions of the Ninco "Speedster" and the coupe'?

EDIT: Ah, I read too hastily. YOUR cars are not racing versions. Gotcha.

Matt,
My first two slot cars, when I was getting back into slot cars as an adult, were the two Ninco Porsche 911 GT3s in the Ninco GT Max set. Since then my interest in slot cars has waxed and waned. At one point I had a bout 8 each of Ninco and Scalextric Porsche 911s. Sadly, I now have no Nincos and sold most of the Scalextrics, but have been replacing them with Scalextric's newest design.

Tengo estos 962 en el cajón de pendientes de reparar.
Tienen la particularidad de que la guía es libre. Gira 360 grados.

I have these 962 in the drawer pending repair.
They have the peculiarity that the guide is free. Rotate 360 degrees.

Salut
Frederic

I really like the 911 Brumos, is it Fly or MRRC or scratchbuilt?
Frederic your 2 962 Porsches were designed to spin 360° around the guide blade and are very common models in the uk, they were sold separately for about £10 as well as in a set. With good tyres they are difficult to spin round as they are good performers despite the guide blade.

So, I read that as, 'Frederic, your 2962 Porsches...' and thought, shoot! How many??

I blame the toluene.😜

Thanks for your answer matthew. I did not think they were common cars because it is rare to see them in any forum or blog.
Wankel Ickx: I don't know if 2962 will arrive, but 2000 at a colloquial level did arrive (contribution # 26). Being called "911 GT1 Milenium" and bearing the number 2000, in some forums it was called "2000", I suppose to save keyboard.

Releyendo el tema, me doy cuenta que interpreté mal la traducción. Lo siento.Wankel Ickx. Como dices, debe ser el Tolueno
Rereading the subject, I realize that I misinterpreted the translation. Sorry Wankel Ickx. As you say, it must be the toluene

This one, of many, that needs some work and is typical of how most of my Airfix 804s arrived

Condition of a lot of the Airfix 804 is probably due to it only being released in one set the MR15 which was only available for a year or so, although it was available for the full life of Airfix and was even in the early MRRC catalogue.
