A Porsche thread
I've harboured passion for Porsche's way of doing things down many decades, and continue to marvel at the many Porsche slot cars we can buy, or build, that make our hobby such an enormously interesting pleasure.
This thread, I hope, will result in 'everything' Porsche - your models, photographs, memories and yarns. And anything else, of course.
All contributions will be of great interest, as usual, and I, therefore, thank you in advance.

One very well know that money is not equal to happiness. Even if I donated 140 million to charity I would still be able to life a fantastic life 
And that‘s even peanuts compared to the donations that the ex-wife of Amazon founder Besos did this year: 8 billion!
Maybe donate 130 and use 10 million for a gentlemen‘s racing team so to play with a 1:1 scale Porsche

Thanks to you again, Chappyman. I've been sitting happily at the Mess this afternoon enjoying lap after lap with sundry cars. Wash my mouth out with soap and water, even a Tipo 33 was relieved of its box at one stage... A fine car!
And then, piles (piles?) of Beetles and Porsches went round and round until the rabble complained, and the electric telephone made that infernal ringing sound. No Thank you! I'm too old for holidays in Greenland, and prefer Scotch without ice. Au revoir.

Chris Perry is the founder of Autotrader.com and his personal collection is housed in a private museum near me. He often opens it to the public for local fundraisers. Although I have not been fortunate to visit in person, I thought I would share these photos from Our State magazine.
He takes each car for a “spirited” drive through our mountains monthly.

A 910 I acquired yesterday that broke one of its rear wheels first time out around the Mess. How much better it looks with its two gold-coloured replacements. Naturally, the front wheels will now have to be repainted to match.
Think I'll repaint the body as well. I'm rather taken with the German registered road going 1:1 of this car in Viper Green that can be seen on YouTube in a short clip narrated by Vic Elford.
