I've harboured passion for Porsche's way of doing things down many decades, and continue to marvel at the many Porsche slot cars we can buy, or build, that make our hobby such an enormously interesting pleasure.

This thread, I hope, will result in 'everything' Porsche - your models, photographs, memories and yarns. And anything else, of course.

All contributions will be of great interest, as usual, and I, therefore, thank you in advance.

A few pics below to start the ball rolling.

Oooh I'd forgotten the Airfix 804.

I had one umpteen years ago, but which was almost immediately repainted silver in honour of Mr. Gurney's efforts at the French GP. No idea where the model is now though. :(

This is my last Ninco Porsche 356, its a limited edition from Pendles. I think blue is a good colour for this car (its possible any colour looks great on a 356).

Supongo que tienen cabida los Porsche S&B. He hecho tres:

I suppose there is room for the Porsche S&B. I have done three:
-El 911 del Dakar-1984.
-El 959 del Dakar 1986.
-Porsche Kremer K8 de Nurburgring o Donington 1998.

Salut
Frederic.

This thread got me wondering how many Porsches I have in my collection. Turned out to be 42, which makes up about 10% of me entire slotcar collection!

Turns out I have one Porsche from almost every slotcar brand I own, the only ones I don´t have a Porsche from are Avant slot, Teamslot and BRM.

Here´s the whole gang. First some Fly rally 911´s.
280609

Then the excellent Ninco 911/934.
280610

Then we move on to some more modern 911´s.
280611
280612

Various Le Mans racers.
280613

And the mad 935´s of the 70´s from Sideways and the new retro GT2 from Carrera.
280614

Revo slot RWB GT2 and SRC 914´s. Scaleauto 959 raid.
280615

Ninco classics.

I really like the 911 Brumos, is it Fly or MRRC or scratchbuilt?
It’s a Racer Sideways limited edition with SRC wheels and tires
Dear, dear, dear 😘 dear...

Yesterday's 2-lap Belgian GP naturally cast my mind back to Le Mans, 1970, when there was a similar deluge. Richard Attwood said that during the night he had to drive at 30mph to avoid aquaplaning. His 917 was not only swamped by the weather, but by several 2.2-litre 911s which, with narrower tyres and a helluva lot less power, were more suited to prevailing conditions.

Richard and co-driver, Hans Herrmann, plodded on for there was no alternative. Eventually, when conditions improved, they made up for lost ground by driving flat out to record Porsche's first outright Sarthe victory.

A job I've been meaning to get around to for years... Made a small aero-screen from a beetroot carton forr my RSK, which it's been without since I bought it.

Is it an improvement? Not really but it'll do for now.

A few Fly 917s. All have run on rear 'urethanes for years, and go very well. Love 'em.

Oh, and a few topically 'wet' daubings. After yesterday's 'excitement' at Spa-Francorchamps, I couldn't let the great occasion go past without a valedictory mention in despatches.

The last of my 8 Ninco Porsches, a blue Carrera road car. I understand it was a Porsche tradition to not put 911 badges their Carrera models.

I know this is a 1/32nd scale thread but as I have a lot of other scales that wouldn't be seen I will carry on with all scales.

Some Porsche 904GT and GTS, these are all cars from the 1960's

A Monogram with the flat adjustable brass chassis

I've also got two of the MRRC, German release, of this body.

An Atlas with open frame motor

Also a few Jouef 1/40th scale cars

Another not 1/32, but surely a nice fit in this thread. This is a 1/24 935 K3 I built in March. Nunu kit on Plafit 1900s chassis. BRM driver, SK decals and resin 1980 rear wheel flares.
Like most here I have quite the range of Porsche slot cars.
