I've harboured passion for Porsche's way of doing things down many decades, and continue to marvel at the many Porsche slot cars we can buy, or build, that make our hobby such an enormously interesting pleasure.

This thread, I hope, will result in 'everything' Porsche - your models, photographs, memories and yarns. And anything else, of course.

All contributions will be of great interest, as usual, and I, therefore, thank you in advance.

A few pics below to start the ball rolling.

I have one of these.

The one with suspension. All rationale for an accurate rear axle set up and precision mandrels, precision gear mesh etc. goes out the window as the rear axle moves all over the place. I don't race but for laps and beer it sticks quite well as the suspension allows for body roll.
I swapped the fronts for Mitoos? (MBSlot?) ribbed tires with a built in taper and used the fronts on my Caterham 7.
Ah! The Ninco Martini, I have both Martini, white and Silver, such beautiful machines, I haven’t raced them recently but as far as I recall the Long Can motor gives enough rpm and torque to have fun with them, such a joy 😀
@GDSLOT I trust you have the glass file as well?

And @Trisha -am I to be given to think that almost very pleased somehow slots above almost pleased but below actually pleased? I am now completely flustered.

But the LH looks lovely and a trio would be wonderful!
I don’t recall right now to have the glass file Chappy, but I’ll check it out and if I have trouble I’ll PM you, as for now I’m almost pleased with the building process😉

Back open.
Thank you RikoRocket. Anyone familiar with Julius Weitmann? I bought his book while on holiday only to find out its the earlier edition so doesn't mention the 917. Some great photos of earlier Porsche racing cars.

Looking forward to the scaley Motul GT3 panzer.
There's plenty of liveries to do for Simon next year ,think there's a couple of 911s in the DTM this year.
Well, after getting whipped by these little rollerskates in the last proxy rally I competed in, I got an SRC Chrono Porsche 914/6. My orange is probably a hair less Seville than the pukka Porsche shade but it is a pretty thing - although I hate doing chrome finishing strips and have some touching-up to do before the decals can go on, which are for Claude Haldi's 1970 RAC Rally entry.

Looking good, when last I checked Porsche 018 Tangerine was the same as Volkswagen Snapdragon in the 1972 charts.
Mine's a bit more 'Sainsbury's Shopping Bag'.

Looking good! It’s easy to make windscreen and side windows from clear plastic water bottles.
