Hi to anyone reading this post.

We finally manged to get our club onto the forum today, and would extend a warm welcome to anyone interested in coming along to have a look at our small informal, racing club.

The club is based in Tunstall, Stoke On Trent (North), Staffordshire.

Our club started in March 2006 with 3 friends getting together with an old 1960's scalexric set for a bit of fun on a rainy night.
None of us had touched a slot car for 20+ years but we were immediately hooked, and proceeded to extend the track the following week.
More new cars followed after that, and then the whole thing just snowballed.

We currently have an 85' 4 lane plastic track set up with a 17' main straight. This should be extended to over 100' in the next couple of months.

We also have a large SCX digital layout and plans for a 100' rally hill climb layout which will be fully terrained.

The club is not linked to any main organisation and is run in a fairly informal atmosphere.

The club meets every Tuesday between 6.30 - 9.30, with racing starting around 7.15.

Our rest of the season schedule and race classes will be published here shortly.

If you are interested call Rich on 01782 833407 9.30 - 5.30.
07771665064 evenings.
or email me at [email protected]

Look forward to hearing from you!!!!!!!!!!

Hello to everyone at North Staffs

I like the idea of interclub races, especially as we are quite close to one another. We will have to sort something out.

Got a bit of work to do extending the track and installing a new lap counting/ timing system but this should all be done in the next week or 2.

I think that maybe you might be a little more experienced than we are, but we are willing to give it go.

Look forward to hearing from you.

Regards. Rich
