Guys do carrera cars run on scalextric sport track fine or do they need some work and if so what??????

Mine work fine i have not adjusted the guid or anything just trued the tyres lbricated the axels etc and away they went i have read some posts where you have to trim the guid but i haven't

You may need to trim the guide if you are using scalextric classic track.

On Classic there is no 'may ' about it, in my experience. Can't say about Sport.

My Bentley runs fine on sport.

Mine run fine on Sport without having to trim the guide blade. Although I had encountered some "problems" with the pick-up braids. They are normally too long and sometimes too wide apart, so sometimes the cars don't pick up power on corners, especially if the corners are tight, ie. R1 hairpins. A little trimming and reposition of braids sorted the problem.
