The Alton and Winchester Slot Car Club's meetings are held on a private track located at the home of the Club Chairman. The track comprises four lanes of routed MDF, with copper taped slots, and is approximately 70 feet long. The current lap record on this fairly tight circuit is 9.9 seconds.
We run 1/32 scale cars from manufacturers like Scalextric, SCX, Ninco, Fly, Carrera, etc.
There is a race fee of £3.00 per meeting, to cover the cost of maintaining club equipment, and purchasing more club cars.
Meetings will be held on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month. Track opens at 7:30pm, first race at 8:00.
We have two series running at present; Goodwood Nights (2nd Tuesday), and Club Car Nights (4th Tuesday).
