Achille Varzi would have turned 100 on August 4, 2004. As elegant in the way that he dressed as he was in the way that he drove, his name will forever be entwined with that of his great rival Tazio Nuvolari. Fierce competitors on the track they were friends off of it, yet except for a brief period early in their careers no team was large enough to hold these two great champions. For more information on this great driver go to Achille Varzi Biography

E, there is one book I desire above all others. A decent English language biography of Achille. I did get a charge from an email I got from his grandson I think it was.
