Hi Guy's

I have loads of Scaley Classic that I've aquired over a couple of years, I wanna progress on to Digital and know that I need Scaley Sport in order to do this. I also know that you can connect Sport to Classic with the convertor piece.

My initial question is that if I have Sport connected to Classic can I add Digital into the mix and it work?

My next question is what is the best deal/pack/kit to get me going?

Cheers

Yes you can mix digital, sport & classic track with the right converters.

There is lots of track on ebay or in the slotforum swapshop.

I have lots of classic/sport converters old & new available if you want some.

Hi Mark,
No problem mixing track together but you will need quite a lot of converters depending on your layout. The biggest problems are the different slot depths of the track. Classic is much shallower than sport/digital track and the deeper blades bottoming out in the shallow slots.

Two ways of doing it which depends on how short your arms are or how deep your pockets are
....... as with everything. The best option is to get a C7042 and gradually replace track pieces as you go. Next best is to pick up a cheaper and less desirable C7030 which is the older style power base.

It would be worth your while looking up a local club or getting along to the big bash at Gaydon in May where you can try all sorts of stuff out and talk to the experts in all manner of things connected with slot cars.

All the best - Greg

Mark .....the 4 car PB is not entirely useful, renaming it as a 2.3 car powerbase would better describe it. If you fancy one, PM me and I'll send you one for free.
