HI ALL, Was trawlling through?-bay(no advertising lol) and saw an afx gaint track set for sale, This is an absolute mega set(i was looking for one for my 2 but now have about 4 othersets!) it is up for £8-99 with 0 bids at moment if interested look at tommy afx section.
Many apoligies to Robin and Andy if this message is in wrong place etc just trying to help other racers as would possibly make a cool xmas pressie

The bay is a good place to pick up second hand AFX sets, although they can get pricey when the seller is a bit greedy. There are a few of those Giant Raceway sets knocking around in the UK. Another really nice set is the 4-lane Le Mans track - it comes up from time to time.

The bargains come when people want a few quid from clearing their loft. Darren has got lucky at some boot fairs too.

Just one word of warning - there was a guy recently on the bay selling an awesome set-up of new AFX track and cars for about £60. It was a complete con. His seller rating was 0 and he claimed to have 50 sets to sell. I contacted him to see if I could pick up and pay cash - I never got a reply. The listing had disappeared a few days later

I have about 100m of track in my loft back from the late 80's along with some random cars, electric lap counters etc.

Is this old track still in demand?

Most HO clubs here have moved on to PC timing, but the Tomy Control Station still has value.

I'm always interested in more cars and I'm sure you'll find a home for the track. I bought a similar amount back in January for around £55 to give you an idea of value but I've seen wildly differing sales prices above and below that amount.

I'd love to see what you have if you wouldn't mind taking photos and posting.....and assuming you wanted to sell of course!!

That lap counter looks familiar, I'm in two minds.

I'm a 1/32 digital racer myself but I've just had a/43 I have for him.

I have years before he will even be able to hold a controller though lol
