Me too...I don't mind light damage,means someone had fun with it once....those look great....I might have headlight pieces for the 908(orange and white)and the #8.. 917 , post if u need them,I will look

Hi guys, I agree if the body has some damage then modify it and give the car a new life.

I didn't even know what a Rotafast is. What year is that car?

Have no info on it...I think these were sold overseas only,have not done much research, I just really liked the car. And,was affordable.

I haven't seen one in the wild but Slot Car Central says "1970's Rotofast, South American released chassis with a lot of similarities to a 1960's Aurora Thunderjet 500 chassis."

Hollow rivet....they look like all the rest,don't really understand the question. Yes,they are not like early aurora,but they changed to hollow type as supplies/ availability changed.

AFX came with solid rivets, then later hollow rivet.

Magna was always hollow rivet.

I think you might be onto something... When the car arrived, it didn't do anything. There was a heavy black char on the com plate. After using the train track eraser to get the black off, the car finally ran. Is it simply carbon build up? Why is it so paint like??
